Come to the Fall Kickoff, a build night, or anything on the calendar. No signup, no commitment — just walk in. Most people who end up deep in this started by showing up once.
What being an exec means
Transcend is run entirely by students, and exec members carry real responsibility from week one: negotiating with sponsors, running a 300-person event, managing the org's budget, building the competition. It's the closest thing on campus to operating a company — because that's functionally what it is.
We recruit every fall. Applications open September, and the best way to get noticed before then is simple: show up.
You don't need a startup. You don't need a business major. You don't need experience.
Every founder we've backed started as someone who was just curious — the only real requirement is showing up with interest.
