Turn an idea into a business in 4 days
8 teams, $1,000 each to create a business. The team that creates the best business wins the prize pool. The event runs from November 17th - 20th — all are welcome, not just students. No prior experience needed.

How it works
1. Apply — Applications due November 1st. Teams of up to 4 people.
2. Interview — Teams are interviewed. Final 8 are selected for the competition.
3. Compete — Teams receive $1,000 to spend on ads, tools, API credits, or anything else that helps you build and sell.
4. Check in — Events are held every evening. Teams give quick updates, work on their project, hear from guest speakers, and enjoy free Chipotle.
5. Present — Teams present their business. Judges pick the winner. Winners get the prize pool.
What Judges Look For
Revenue — Real money from real customers during the race.
Investability and scalability — Could this grow beyond 72 hours into a business worth backing?
Uniqueness — What makes your idea or approach different from what’s already out there?
Customer knowledge — Who buys, why they buy, and what you learned from talking to them.
